An instrument, not a dashboard.
A dashboard exists to look informed. An instrument exists to be read, argued with, and checked against the thing it claims to measure — including when the reading is inconvenient.
Every two minutes it reads the Solana validator set from a public RPC, counts how few operators hold a third of active stake, and files one summary per epoch. It publishes the count, the walk that produced it, the operators inside it by public key, and the arithmetic in full.
There is no account, no key, and no server you have to trust. If this site disappeared tomorrow, the method page alone is enough to reproduce every figure it ever printed.
It will not fill a gap. When an RPC call fails, its fields read unread this sweep — never the last value that happened to be there. A stale figure under a live label is worse than no figure.
It will not state a direction early. Below the epoch floor, the trend prints WITHHELD. An arrow is read as a finding and would not have been one.
It will not hide a change of instrument. Altering any threshold changes the measure version and clears the record, because readings from a different scale plotted on one line are a chart that lies quietly.
It will not accuse anyone. Counting who could is not alleging that anyone would, and the two are kept apart on every page.
TERCE is a working title. The whole identity — name, blurb, domain, handle, token — lives in a single file, so naming it later is one edit and nothing on any page has to be hunted down.
No relationship with Solana, with any foundation, or with any validator named anywhere on this site. It reads public data the same way for everyone and asks nobody's permission to do so.
